ICONE

I am more than fascinated by the making process of icons...

Icons were painted by priests and monks centuries ago. It was considered being the work of God through priests and monks' hands. That's why in the ancient times, icons were not signed or dated.
Nowadays, non religious artists can paint icons as well sign and date them.

ASIAN SPIRITUALITY

Buddhism is not a religion but a way of living.
Asian monks, their clothing, their lives...are fascinating

"...follow the calmness, the absence of pride." Buddha
"Make an island of yourself, make yourself your refuge; there is no other refuge.
Make truth your island, make truth your refuge;there is no other refuge." Buddha

"Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries.
Without them, humanity cannot survive." Dalai Lama
